The baby goats have arrived and here are some of the first photos hot off the press.
We have been incredibly lucky to have all four moms do so well, each of the does had twin bucks and all are healthy. We have anxiously been awaiting a female kid as Diego and Luna want to have them to show at the county fair. There are still 5 more does left to deliver. They sure are taking their time.
Luna and friend Ali have been playing with them and the first 4 are really tame and interested in humans. The llamas, Ruffles and Gypsy are being good guard animals and allow the little ones to gallop in between their long legs.We continue to seed lettuce, spinach and other early crops. The peppers are seeded but may take a few weeks to emerge. Hopefully I’ll get this website figured out and I can get out and transplant the wheat.
